SCROLL DOWN
I’m an experienced story artist, animator, and director of award-winning content.
Filming my first animation at age 9 with a super-8 camera, I studied Animation at Senior College Ballyfermot, Dublin, the European Partner school to Sheridan College, Canada. An internship in Visual Effects at Walt Disney Feature Animation, France opened the door to work as a classical drawn SFX animator for TV and feature films, including Disney’s The Tigger Movie and the title sequence for Thunderbirds.
A love of storytelling and drawing led me towards storyboarding and filmmaking. Training in feature film storyboarding at Aardman Animations, and a stint storyboarding on Shaun the Sheep, I’ve been fortunate to train and work with some of the best in the UK animation industry.
Passionate about indie animation, I produced and directed No One is an Island (2024), which explores groundbreaking science in climate change, currently playing on the film festival circuit. I co-produced the multi-award winning 4mations Digital Short The Astronomers Sun for Channel 4 television.
Teaching includes stints as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Arts London and guest lecturing around the UK. I’ve given talks at workshops at The BFI Academy, Cinemagic (Dublin & Belfast) and Fest Anca (Slovakia). Between 2016 and 2019 I co-curated Animation Central, the UK’s biggest family animation celebration at Leeds Young Peoples Film Festival.
